The overuse of superlatives

Just like that "brilliant" character from The Fast Show, people who use superlatives to describe the mundane tend to get on me tripe.
Things such as a moonlanding or an outstanding act of bravery or kindness, do deserve being called FANTASTIC. but a every single food item in Nandos or Maccy D's is NOT, so please people on buses using mobile phones discussing your dietary musings please be a bit more creative and try using words such as BLAND,CORPORATE & CRAP.
